Common chimney problems & fixes
Quick diagnosis for two popular chimney brands we often service. These are general guides — a technician visit is best for electrical or motor faults.
Usually caused by a clogged baffle or mesh filter, a blocked outlet duct, or incorrect installation height above the stove. Regular filter cleaning (every 15–20 days of cooking) and checking the ducting for kinks or blockages restores suction. If suction stays weak after cleaning, the motor or capacitor may need inspection.
